This course is designed for health care professionals and students working in emergency/critical care areas. The course provides an in-depth approach to rhythm analysis and interpretation of abnormal cardiac rhythms as well as pertinent signs and symptoms. It allows the participant to incorporate critical thinking, rhythm analysis and treatment modalities for the critically ill patient. Course participants must have a working knowledge of the anatomy of the heart, electrophysiology of the cardiac system, as well as normal and abnormal heart rhythms.
