This course on mental health and coping during COVID-19 is designed to provide participants with tools and strategies to take care of their mental health during this pandemic.
This course starts by a basic review of what is COVID-19 and how to prevent it, and focuses on coping with stress; keeping mentally healthy while at home; helping children, teens and young adults cope; reducing stigma; stopping the spread of rumors; grief and loss; and alcohol and substance use. Coping strategies that address the needs of parents and people that have children under their care, older adults and people with a mental condition will be explored.
