CHRISTEEN HOLDWICK, MA, RN, BSN 

DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES 

 

Christeen Holdwick has practiced nursing and hospital administration for more than 30 years. Educated at the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University, she has clinical expertise in the areas of inpatient medicine/surgery, women and children’s services, and behavioral services. She also holds a Certification in Advanced Quality Health Care from Intermountain Health Care Institute. In addition to her extensive clinical leadership experience, Ms. Holdwick has expertise in organizational development, employee engagement, and patient and family satisfaction. Ms. Holdwick has experience within the U.S., as well as internationally working in Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Yangon, Myanmar, China, Micronesia, Bangladesh, Abu Dhabi and Iraq.  Ms. Holdwick has received numerous awards for her excellent work in nursing and mental health, including the Top Nurses of Michigan Award – Distinguished Nurse, Intermountain Health Care, Advanced Quality Improvement Certificate, the Washtenaw Alliance for the Mentally Ill, Distinguished Community Service Award, a recipient of a grant for the Humor Project, New York, and an Employee Achievement Award from St. John Mercy’s Health System. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Rho Chapter and the Alliance for the Mentally Ill. Ms. Holdwick has given national, as well as international presentations on a variety of nursing and human resource topics and has been published in scientific journals numerous times. Ms. Holdwick, most recently, worked on a 350-bed hospital project in Vietnam focusing on equipment and IT planning and operational efficiency.
