Ronald Szumski has worked in the healthcare industry for the past forty years in the areas of finance, managed care, health plan development and operations, physician contracting, compensation and integration, and leadership and operational expertise in accountable care organizations and value-based agreements. He has worked with GHSN on projects in Bangladesh, Libya, Lebanon and Kurdistan where he developed outpatient services and medical staff programs. 

• Mr. Szumski was the Clinic System Executive for Botsford Hospital, where he oversaw 24 outpatient specialty medical clinics, employing 65 physicians, 16 mid-level providers and 125 office staff members. 

• He is a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association, American College of Healthcare Executives and Michigan Healthcare Executive Group. 

• Mr. Szumski is a past Board Member for the Area Agency on Aging 1-B, serving the aging population in Southeast Michigan, and is active in a variety of professional and community organizations
