Thomas Tocco is an experienced leader with 25 years of increasingly challenging and complex positions within the Facilities and Engineering Division of Saint Joseph Mercy Health System.   His expertise lies in the codes and regulations of accrediting and governmental bodies.  He has experience in delivering capital construction projects on time and within budget and has significant success in the procurement of multi-million-dollar construction contracts and commissioning of new hospitals and hospital expansion projects. He is currently the Director, Facilities and Engineering at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System.  Mr. Tocco holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Ferris State University, College of Business and an Associate Degree in Building Construction Technology from Ferris State University, College of Technology.  He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association, the American Society of Healthcare Engineers, Michigan Society for Healthcare Engineers and the Superior Township Building/Planning Board of Appeals.
