This course is an introduction to the basics principles of hemodynamics, including basic concepts and terms such as preload, afterload and contractility. It also provides the participant with a working knowledge of the use and purpose of the Pulmonary Artery Catheter (Swan Ganz), Central Venous Pressure (CVP) and Arterial Line blood pressure monitoring.
