This course assists nursing educators in various healthcare and school settings gain a better understanding of nursing pedagogy in nursing education. A learning style inventory is used to help educators gain a clearer understanding of their own teaching and learning style. A variety of evidence based teaching strategies and when and how to use a specific strategy is examined. By the end of the course nurses develop an action plan to incorporate a new teaching strategy in their teaching practice.
