This course is designed help participants gain the skills to improve the quality of care though pain management. The course focuses on the definition of pain; pain assessment and selected pain scales: numerical rating scale, Wong-Baker Faces Pain Scale, FLACC scale; Nursing Care Plans and Nursing interventions for Pain Management as well as Evidence-based Pain Management.
